A HOLISTIC PATH TO BALANCE AND HEALING
Rediscover the connection between mind and body
Life can sometimes feel like an endless series of demands and expectations, leaving you feeling disconnected — from yourself, your relationships, and your sense of purpose. When we lose touch with who we are and what we need, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or even lost. For many people, this disconnection seeps into every part of life, affecting how they relate to others and how they experience joy, confidence, and calm.
My approach to therapy brings together different perspectives — from psychodiagnostics, which uncovers the core challenges you face, to schema therapy, which integrates multiple approaches to help understand and heal deeply rooted patterns. Soon, I’ll also be adding body-centered techniques to this practice, making it even easier to feel grounded, connected, and balanced.

RETREATS

I AM ELLEN DOTSELAERE,
and I’ve struggled with anxiety and depressive symptoms since my teenage years. I went through several therapies, but each time I seemed to reach a plateau. It wasn’t until I met a psychologist who took a broader approach, that I truly felt seen and understood. This process allowed me to get to know myself on a deeper level and also understand how my biology profoundly impacts my mental well-being.
I came to realize that healing can require an integrated approach — addressing multiple layers of the human experience. This insight shaped my journey as a clinical psychologist, where I now draw from a broad perspective, considering various aspects of life and individual history. My post-graduate training in psychodiagnostics enhances this approach. As someone who values active engagement in therapy, I also find cognitive-behavioral therapy a powerful tool to tackle issues directly. Additionally, schema therapy helps me go deep into understanding and breaking old patterns. In October 2025, I will begin my training in TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises), which will further enrich my practice.
